Our Church
Core Values
We Value…
Worship - believing mankind is created to worship the Creator -
individually and collectively.
Evangelism - believing we have a Biblical mandate to share the
gospel of Jesus Christ.
The
Bible - as the divinely inspired and inerrant Word of God.
The
Church - as the family of God, instituted by God.
Personal and Ministerial Integrity - striving to live
consistently, being accountable to God and each other.
Holiness in Lifestyle - believing it is what scripture commands,
lived out in practical ways through our thoughts, words, and deeds.
Spiritual Gifts - believing they are for the edification of the
church and not the individual, given by God in their entirety as
referenced in scripture. Romans 12:3-8; I Corinthians 14:1-5
The
Family - as defined in scripture believing it to be formed by
God. Ephesians 5:21-25; 6:1-4
The
Call - upon the church to minister to those who are in need in
our community and worldwide.

1.
Exalt
the name and cause of Jesus Christ.
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?
Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest
commandment.” Matthew 22:36-38
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all
in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through
him.” Colossians 3:17
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give
you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so
that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:5-6
2. Enjoy
fellowship and membership in this Christian community.
“They
devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to
the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and
many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the
believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their
possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day
they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread
in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising
God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to
their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42-47
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on
toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as
some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all
the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
3. Encourage
members toward discipleship and personal growth.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach
and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns
and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God” Colossians
3:16
“Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in
heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make
disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and
of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end
of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
4. Equip
members so they can minister to others.
“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great
among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be
slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to
serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:43-45
“Then the King will say to those on his right, Come, you
who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom
prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and
you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to
drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you
clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you
came to visit me. Then the righteous will answer him, Lord when did we
see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to
drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in or needing
clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to
visit you? The King will reply I tell you the truth, whatever you did
for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did to me.” Matthew
25:34-40
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22: 39
5. Evangelize
by telling others the Good News of Jesus Christ.
“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching
in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing
every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion
on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a
shepherd. The he said to his disciples, the harvest is plentiful but
the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send
out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:35-38
“Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to
house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that
Jesus is the Christ.” Acts 5:42
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses
its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for
anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the
light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do
people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its
stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way,
let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and
praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:13-16
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed
me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom
for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the
oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord favor.” Luke 4:18-19
6. Enable
the work of God through faithful giving and service.
“But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech,
in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us—see that
you also excel in this grace of giving.” II Corinthians 8:7
Honor the LORD with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops;
then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine.
Proverbs 3:9-10
“’Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there
may be food in my house. Test me in this,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘and
see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so
much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.’” Malachi 3:10
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where
moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store
up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not
destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your
treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure,
pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your
lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke
6:38
